We were swayed by the height and weight limit for this car seat as our previous two children both grew out of the other one by the time they were one. So, we decided to go with this one since it claims it will accomodate an infant up to 30/32. The problem is with the leveling system...if you adhere to the guidelines the baby's head is tilted with the chin ending up in their chest which inhibits their ability to breathe. Also, it doesn't necessarily accomodate a smaller newborn...our daughter was 6 lbs, 8 oz and 19" long and these straps barely have the ability to tighten enough to be snugly safe. If we had the money we would go back to buying an Eddie Bauer model like we had with our two older children. We wish we'd kept the other one, but this was a surprise baby and we had already donated the other to a needy family.

Also, the car seat does not latch in a shopping cart and therefore has to be placed in the largest part of the cart for safety reasons which makes shopping for more than a couple of things virtually impossible.

This seat is bigger then our older one and he seems to sit alittle more streched out like not so much crunched over like releaving some pressure on his little tummy. I think this helped him out since he suffers from acid reflux. The release for htis seat is on the head side of the seat as opposed to the foot which is nice but you have to lift the seat vertically straight up to release the seat. I find this seat is alittle difficult or awkward and a little heavy to carry. I have the one with the red and I like the colors and materials. When i first started reading reviews on this stroller, they were all great with the exception of the folding and unfolding. And i can back this by saying YES it is very hard if you dont understand it. I'm going to go ahead and second the recommendations of the previous reviewer to research extended rear facing and the Kyle David Miller Foundation. We got this seat as a secondary car seat to be used in the grandparents cars. Our primary is a Britax Boulevard.
I have installed this seat probably 8 separate times now, in two different Ford Focuses and one Honda Ridgeline. My son is almost 23 pounds and almost 32 inches at 15 months old. We are continuing to rear face because it is five times safer than forward facing at this point. Now on to the car seat!
I installed it first in the Honda Ridgeline, and it took me about a half an hour to get a good install. To correct the previous reviewer, it doesn't have to have less than one inch of movement at the head of the car seat, but at the belt path. That means you should NOT be able to move it more than one inch in any direction where the seat belt or the LATCH belt is connected. I have to stick a knee into the seat and put a lot of weight into it and simultaneously pull the LATCH strap to get less than an inch of movement, but it's a small price to pay for safety.
I also have the same problem with the difficulty in tightening the shoulder harness, and have heard that complaint from many other people with the My Ride. I finally got it tight enough, but have no idea how I did it and am afraid to loosen it at all or I won't get it back.
I had the same issue with the cover as well where it pops off of the cup holders and also the top. I called Graco, and they sent me a replacement cover right away. I got it within three days. I haven't had a chance to put it on yet, but we haven't used the seat in awhile either.
All in all, it is a good seat for the money. If you have a tight budget and are looking for a high weight limit rear facing seat, this is a good one.
I personally like the deepness of the seat, he actually has more leg room in this than he does in his Britax Boulevard.
Again, after installing a seat, find a certified car seat technician in your area to go over your install, they can help you learn how to do it correctly. You can find one in your area by going to this website: [...]

Remember, the American Academy of Pediatrics have recently changed their recommendations regarding car seats, and now recommend rear facing until at least age 2 and 30 pounds, NOT age 1 and 20 pounds.

This monitor uses the 2.4ghz range, but still has a pretty short range for the audio, and even shorter range for the video.

Video quality is reasonable, a bit washed out. The NIGHT video is not very good with range (maybe 6 feet visible range), and it has brightish RED leds that shines at the child and I can see that creeping some kids out. An IR LED for night time does NOT need to be visible to the child.

Video drops out regularly with a Ding!Ding! warning which gets pretty annoying over time when you are at the range of the video, which in our house is about 45 feet (2 rooms). Audio reception is almost twice that.
Even in the adjacent room, connection drops out regularly through the night which causes the 'DING DING' waking us up.

The audio is reasonable, but wierd because there is a 2 second delay, Not because we care that there is a 2 second delay, but we can just hear the original cry and then the monitor echoes it which is a pretty creepy effect at night.

One more annoyance is that the sound controls are not very gradiated. Even on the quietest setting it's too loud for a quiet room and every snort gets amplified. We duct taped the speaker hole and that helped.

Battery time for us is about 2-3 hours with occasional video. Enough for a nap, but you'll want to leave it plugged in otherwise.

The parent unit IS amazingly portable, however the drawback is that it's not built nearly as robustly as other graco products. A minor drop from our toddler's hands popped out the OLED screen cover. Another got the video all wacky.

I wouldn't recommend it for retail price, Check out the SUMMER brand video products, but in a pinch it'll do if you can find it on clearance.

I normally trust Graco products, and even though I could only find one picture of this product, I bought it, trusting a good product coming from Graco! Not so.

The 'blanket' that is rolled up inside a small pocket inside the 'boot' is actually a teeny strip of very thin fleece fabric, shaped in a triangle, that would probably only cover a preemie baby. Not even close to keeping them warm.

The boot is a navy blue, elastic cover that goes over top the bottom half of the car seat, top half is completely left exposed. It is made out of crispy windbreaker material, not at all what I would consider baby friendly.

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

The bassinet only goes up to 15 lbs. Our baby just hit 5 months and is small at under 13 pounds. I'm not sure what we'll do from here on out - we haven't tried dropping the padding to have her sleep in the bottom yet. Honestly, I'm a bit hesitant about that. It would put her very close to the ground. I still give it five stars because its worked great for us so far. We still plan on using it as a play pen, but I'm not sure if I'll sleep her in the bottom section.

Just got this stroller today. Really impressed with the huge canopy that goes down to the child tray, deep parent cupholders, large basket, one touch brake, and suspension.

Easy to fold - 3 steps - click button between parent cup holders, pull red strap above basket, push down on the handles. It's easier to stand the stroller up by itself folded if you lock the front wheels first, but you don't have to. The Inglesina Zippy is also this way.

NOT easy to unfold - 5 steps - press the safety button, use your foot to step down on the lever above the brake, use your hand to press down on the side of the stroller on the left and right sides, push down on the bar between the parent cupholders. This will take some getting used to. Since I only plan to take this on all day trips, where I will not need to fold and unfold more than one time, I am okay with the tedious unfolding process. I would get really annoyed with it if this was my everyday stroller.

The Cleo is very similar to the Inglesina Zippy as far as seat fabric and large canopy. The basket on the Cleo is bigger than on the Zippy, but the cross bar does get in the way a bit. The Zippy has this same problem. The Cleo only has a child tray, but the Zippy has a child tray and child bar. Both strollers have removable and washable seats, but the Zippy also allows you to remove the canopy to wash and the Cleo doesn't. The Cleo reclining mechanism feels cheap. It's just a strap and is a bit too reclined even when pushed up as far as possible. The Zippy reclining has a much easier to use lever that allows for 4 positions.

The major difference between the Cleo and the Zippy is the folding and price. Zippy really does have a one step fold and unfold, except it's easier to fold if you lock the front wheels first. The Cleo is a 3 step fold and 5 step unfold. However, is this worth hundreds of dollars more?

Some small surprises on the Cleo were the small zippered pouch in the canopy, 2 bottle holders and small velcroed pocket in the basket, and small pocket on the side of the seat for child to put small toys or tall sippy cups.

First of all, let me say that the basic structure of this Pack n Play is just great. It's the accessories that are not as convenient as they seem. It sets up quickly, is very sturdy, and definitely cute.

The accessories leave a little bit to be desired. I loved the idea of having a portable, built in sound soother with nightlight. However, it is battery operated, and to change the batteries one must have a Phillips screwdriver handy. Since batteries tend to run out at the most inconvenient moments, having to find a screwdriver, unscrew the top, and replace the batteries (3 AA) is not user-friendly at all. I was disappointed in this and feel it is a design flaw that could have been better thought out.

I received this as a gift when I was pregnant with my 2nd. I have a 2 year old and an infant now. I have to agree with the other review - it can be very difficult to set this stroller up. It is heavy and you have to have a system in place to get it in and out of the car. I have to line it up parallel with my minivan trunk and then lift it up and put it in the same parallel position. It can be very difficult to manuever once you have lifted it into the trunk. It just barely fits sideways in my trunk. Same story here with getting my infant into the rear seat. You have to always recline the back seat first which was tricky at first but now I am used to it. Then you have to tip the infant seat in a weird way to get it to lock into the seat. The front wheels lock in a straight position each time and the back brake goes on each time you fold it up. I'm used to all those weird features now.

BROKEN HANDLES - we just flew to FL last week and the stroller didn't make it through the gate check in process without breaking. BOTH handles broke off completely when they gave me my stroller back at the gate. I'm about to start my research on how I get replacement handles - I'll be sure to edit my review based on what I hear back from Graco.

There are times when being on her back does not work, being held does not work, and tummy naps are no longer an option. When my whits-end is coming and she just is so unhappy, that is only one of the times when the swing has been so useful. Other times she is eager for it and enjoys the movement and looking around the room. Sometimes she will fall asleep in the swing and then stay out for longer naps that are fabulous for Mama time. I researched and researched before I decided on this stroller. I was using my Maclauren with my 12 month old and found she was not very comfortable in it. I was worried when winter would come and how she would fit w. her winter coat on. So I had to find an alternate.

We bought this crib about a month ago in preparation for our second child who is due in approx. six weeks. It is a rather lightweight crib. My fiance put it together in an hour or so without using the instructions (they were hiding wrapped up with the wood the mattress rests on (the last thing he put in), so apparently it's rather simple to put together. The adjustable railing that moves up and down for easier access to baby has been frustrating for us. It's been difficult to get it to stay put, and sometimes after putting it back up, a small touch will send it pummeling back down. This can be fixed by making sure it's stuck in the grooves at the bottom of the crib, but it really should be easier to move up & down with ease. It's a lightweight crib and seems smaller and flimsier than what my first child had.... but I don't expect it to fall apart, I just don't think this is going to last thru toddler years. Also it comes with wheels, but we'll be taking those off as we have hardwood floors. Overall, the crib will be okay for a year or so, but I don't see it lasting longer than that. The main reason I started looking for a new car seat was to find one that waould support my daughter better because she is an "Instant Car Napper", from the second you pull out of the drive. I absolutely love this system. It has great handling which is perfect for shopping and getting down tight aisles. It has a very smooth ride. When used together, the shade from the stroller and car seat pull together to make a full tent cover over baby. It folds up very nicely and is quite compact. I took this along when flying with my baby to Mexico and it worked so well. The cup holders and compartment are great for mom and dad. My mother bought us this high chair when my little one was 4 months old, she is now about to be one year old, and we are expecting another child and plan on using this for him as well. (I will be ordering a not so pink cover for our son)

The high chair cover is easy to remove and wash, which is nice, and the ability to fold up the high chair for storage is crucial in our small space. I love that the top of the tray comes off for easy cleaning, also comes in handy sometimes when my little one is trying to throw fist fulls of food or is done eating early and wants to play.

Basket underneath is convenient storage for wipes and toys, although it tends to catch crumbs. The bottom tray can be hard to clip on but we almost never unclip this part as my daughter is content to slide in and out for now.

I recieved this car seat today and am very pleased. Had a little bit of a problem with the canopy however. It comes with two sets of canopy attachment parts. They kinda sent me 3 correct attachment pieces and one wrong one but I was able to figure out a way to put them together anyway (and done in a safe manner). I was expecting it to be brown and a little bit of a pinker color. It's more like brown and a burnt orange color. Still very cute. The material is VERY breathable and durable. We got this for our son, our first child, and it's been great. We debated over getting a pack 'n play with a newborn napper or without and decided on the one with a newborn napper. Our son sleeps very well in it and we like that he can't rollover because it cradles him. The only problem with the newborn napper is that in the summer, our baby gets really warm sleeping in it because of the material. I think our baby also likes sleeping on the slight incline that the newborn napper has.

We love the convenience of the changing table, but our baby tends to rollover to the edge, which he hates and always either wakes him up or he starts crying. We didn't like the bag on the side for the diapers and wipes, we preferred the cubby holes that some of the other pack 'n play has, but it's still convenient for us to reach over and quickly grab a diaper and wipes.

Our son usually falls asleep to the classical music and the vibrations. There are two vibrations, the first one feels way too strong for our baby, so we always leave it on the lower setting. He doesn't care much for the nature sounds.

It was pretty easy to assemble, but definitely follow the instructions. My sister and father put it together and most times when they weren't following the instructions, they'd have to undo what they just did because they were wrong.

One thing to note, the first time we tried to move it from our bedroom to another room, it wouldn't fit through the door. You have to take off the changing table to get it through the door.

This is a pretty basic style pack 'n play, but has served very well both for my infant son and his one year old cousin. It sets up, folds up, and stores more easily than I expected, even for a small mom. I really like that you can use it at bassinet level; it's much easier to reach a small baby, especially if you have it next to your bed. The monkey print and monkey mobile are cute and gender neutral. I really haven't missed any other frills that other models have (changing tables, vibrators, etc.) though I'm sure those would be worth it for some people. We love this product, and see it as a must-have. Our baby is now 5mo; we used it since he was born and intend to continue using it.
We bought it primarily for motion detection as a measure against SIDS. Honestly, I simply do not understand people who manage to sleep well at night without such a monitoring device, after being educated about SIDS.
At 5mo, even after the SIDS risk is decreased, we still feel safe leaving the baby at a different floor in the house, and checking if the little motion indicator shows movement. It's simply... relaxing. And we need that peace of mind.
Another word about the motion sensor: when the sensor does not detect movement (possible SIDS) the unit will sound an alarm both on mobile units and on the nursery unit. Of course you'll leap to the crib once you hear the beep (I never thought I could react so fast!); but the beep on the nursery unit is loud enough to wake the baby up as well, which can get the baby out of the SIDS situation by itself.

I had to buy a Masonite board for this product. Until I did, we got many false alarms (at least once every night) which could not be avoided with any setting of the sensitivity dial. This was expected - per the manual - since my crib has a grid-like wired bottom. I ordered the board according to the dimensions mentioned in the manual at the local hardware store and paid approx. $15 - really no need to order online and possibly pay more. Once I installed the board, I never had a single false alarm (and I do test the unit from time to time).

So, beyond the motion sensor (the primary objective, as I mentioned) we also get:
- Audio monitor - very useful. I would get it anyways if it was not bundled in. Also the usual features of visual sound indicator, volume and sensitivity. It's only one-way (monitor) - you cannot talk back to the baby.
- Temperature monitor with alarm - theoretically useful, but I am not sure I can trust the reading, as it does not agree with my other thermometer. (Strangely, I never see -any- two thermometers completely agree...) But at least you get a ballpark number which is good.

Some thoughts about what I like less (room for improvement):
- Once you lift the baby from the crib, or rather 20 sec. after - the alarm will sound if you forgot to turn the unit off. Hence you have to remember to turn it off, and then remember to turn it on again after putting the baby back. This is rather cumbersome, and created a lot of nuisance until we got used to the on/off action even while half-asleep. See, once you took the baby out and started giving her needed care, the last thing you want is a startling alarm in the room. This is really really annoying, both for the parents and the baby.
I would suggest to Graco, if this is possible, to add some weight sensor (with adjustable sensitivity). It should be quite easy to detect an empty crib, and switch the unit into some special 'standby mode' that will hold the alarm.
- Switching between the different modes (audio-only, audio+movement, etc.) is cumbersome through the menu system. It is working, sure, but it's multiple button presses and you have to remember to 'confirm' your selection otherwise it will be canceled with no warning (bad idea!). While sophisticated and functioning, sophistication is the last thing parents need with constant sleep deprivation.
Suggested improvement: keep the menu system for the less common functions, and add dedicated buttons to turn on/off the main features: one button for motion detection, one button for audio monitoring.
- There is another issue - but I'm not sure my memory serves me right; as far as I can recall, you cannot set the system NOT to detect movements, and only monitor audio. This can be useful if you take the baby out of the crib and put her on the carpet to play - you may want to keep the audio monitor on but of course disable the motion sensor as the crib is empty. In the cases when I needed this I simply disconnected the motion sensor's wire from the unit, which effectively disables the alarm; yet, a dedicated mode for audio without motion would solve this in a more elegant way. And of course - my other two suggestions above would solve this even better.
- I would appreciate some additions to make this into a super-monitor: (Idea for a Super-Deluxe-Extra-Premium model?... Features could be enabled via attachable, optional add-ons)
* Day/Night video cam. (when you hear those grunts, don't you want to see how alert the baby is by checking if she moves and kicks?)
* Hygrometer (humidity). Makes sense almost as a thermometer makes sense, esp. when the air is too dry due to heating.
* Two-way audio. I know a lot of parents like this; I personally prefer NOT to have it as it may tempt me to try to "remote relax" the baby. Nope, I prefer to be forced to get up and give the physical attention.

I would gladly pay the combined price of this unit plus a separate video cam to get a super monitor model in one product.
I have a feeling many parents would too, hence something like that at a price of about $250 will both make a great product and a good profit to the mfg.

Closing thoughts:
A must have product; the pros are huge (with no competition for the price & features combination). Cons are minor and can be worked-around.
I would definitely buy this unit again, and would put this in the top 5 for must-haves, together with a crib and car seat.
