My husband thought this was a dinosaur, so don't bother if you have your heart set on an alligator theme. However, move little kids won't care. :-) We've had this since my son was probably 3 or 4 months, and at 10 months he is just starting to reach for it when it's attached to his stroller. His preferred way of playing with it is to have it loose, so he can chew on the bottom of it. It's not bad, but it's not exciting either.
